*Missed connections is a long term photographic project based in the US. This project is a commentary about American landscape through the narratives of love and virtual relationships in the present time and how the culture affects the landscape and creates it. I use the famous page Craigslist to portray cities from people who post ads for missed connections online. Thus, by curating a selection of stories, I create images that, in the place where the missed connection has happened, evoke or provoke, sarcastically or disconcertingly, the landscapes where these "missed connections" occurred. The text is as important as the images for this project; like my position as an outsider to look at the landscape as a whole portrait of a culture.
